Hi, I’m Tristyn.

I’m a Los Angeles-based photographer with a BFA in Photography from Otis College of Art and Design and a love for creating images that feel expressive, intimate, and distinctly human.

I’ve been building my freelance photography business since 2019, and what I’ve come to love most about this work is the connection that happens on either side of the camera. I photograph a wide range of people, personalities, and styles, and I want every person who steps in front of my lens to feel comfortable enough to actually be themselves. Whether we’re creating something polished and editorial, playful and experimental, or quiet and personal, I’m always looking for the little details that make an image feel like you.

My background extends beyond photography into painting, sculpture, ceramics, makeup design, and other forms of visual art, which has shaped the way I think about color, lighting, composition, texture, and storytelling. I’m especially drawn to portraiture and fashion photography, where all of those elements can come together to create something that feels both intentional and alive.

Today, I work with around 5–10 clients a week and personally handle everything from planning and scheduling to shooting, editing, and final delivery. I’m incredibly grateful that roughly 97% of my client reviews are five stars—but what matters most to me is that people leave a session feeling seen, comfortable, and excited about what we created together.

I’m still constantly learning, experimenting, and finding new ways to grow as an artist. Photography is something I take seriously without ever wanting it to feel too serious. Come as you are, bring me your weird ideas, and let’s make something beautiful.
